By applying for, registering for or participating in this event, the participant acknowledges that he or she is, (or they are) aware of the policy and agree to its terms.

The Division for Prosperity at UNITAR cordially invites you to attend this half day panel discussion with two panels that will explore strategies to leverage AI for livelihood development, support climate action and disaster resilience, enhance education and capacity-building, build trust and transparency around AI usage, prevent and detect financial crimes, and the role of AI for anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance.

Moderated by the Division for Prosperity’s advisory board members, both panel discussions will include academic stalwarts from renowned universities, notable dignitaries from the private sector and experts from international organizations.

At the "AI Innovations for Strengthening Societal Resilience" panel, we will explore how AI can be leveraged to facilitate livelihood development by identifying emerging green job opportunities, supporting climate action and disaster resilience through predictive analytics, and enhancing education and capacity-building programs via personalized learning and resource optimization. Additionally, building trust and transparency around AI involves implementing ethical guidelines, ensuring data privacy, and fostering open communication with stakeholders.

The "AI Innovations and Solutions for the Prevention of Financial Crime" panel will explore how collaboration among financial institutions, regulators, and technology providers can enhance the use of AI for anti-money laundering and financial crime prevention. This includes improving data sharing and developing advanced detection systems to help meet regulatory compliance, identify emerging typologies, and adapt to evolving fraud tactics.

Key Government officials, ministers, and decision makers, corporate representatives, and any other personnel working in the Sustainability sector or looking to contribute across the same to achieve the goals effectively, and be the change makers and pioneers in the same.
